Co Living Shared Community: Innovative Practice of School Furniture and Campus Public Environment Design
In the Terahai region of Israel, the ON STUDIO design team has redefined the campus living experience with a 17000 square meter student dormitory project. The project is centered around the concept of "community collective" symbiosis, integrating youthful vitality and academic atmosphere to create a model of educational industry environment design that meets the needs of the new era.
Co Living: A New Model of Shared Living
Co Living emphasizes building social connections through shared living, especially suitable for college students. Residents interact and collaborate in shared spaces, forming close interpersonal relationships from cooking, learning to organizing activities. Unlike traditional accommodation, this model not only emphasizes "shared living", but also promotes interpersonal connections through spatial design, reshaping modern community lifestyles.
School Furniture and Public Space Design
In the design of campus public environment, this case emphasizes differentiated spatial narrative. The quiet carriage seat self-study area is equipped with professional school furniture to meet the needs of deep learning; The social hub adopts modular sofas and industrial style soft seats to encourage communication and interaction. The mobile layout allows students to switch between learning and leisure at any time, breaking the fixed mode of traditional student dormitories and fully reflecting the flexibility and diversity of student dormitory furniture and apartment furniture.
The integration of nature and culture
The building connects the indoor space with the natural scenery of the Galilee Mountains through an open layout, outdoor terraces, and large glass curtain walls. Sunshine pours into the shared hall, creating an atmosphere of harmonious coexistence between humans and nature, further enhancing the spiritual value of the campus living environment.
