BASF Berlin Headquarters Office Space Design: Kinzo's Innovative Office Furniture and Environmental Design

Kinzo has created a 15000 square meter office space for BASF's Berlin headquarters, with office furniture environment design as the core, reconstructing the traditional corporate environment into a dynamic collaborative ecosystem that integrates science fiction aesthetics and practical functions. Non hierarchical open layout combined with customized office furniture to create diverse innovative scenarios.

Design Language for Molecular Structure

Design with molecular structure as the core vocabulary, running through office furniture and environmental details: acoustic panel molecular chain patterns, bulletin board geometric splicing, and glass partition atomic model patterns to enhance technological attributes. Customized tubular storage cabinets echo industrial aesthetics, modular restaurant seats can be freely combined, and the stepped seat orange soft package is inspired by chemical molecular bonds, combining functionality and brand genes.

Material selection integrates BASF technology: sound-absorbing foam arc screen realizes noise reduction and flow sense, and wooden protective wallboard balances metal cold feeling, forming a cold and warm contrast with orange red soft decoration.

Collaborative oriented spatial innovation

The proportion of public areas exceeds 60%, forming an organic network of collaborative areas, dedicated workstations, project rooms, and multifunctional restaurants. The flexibility of office furniture has become a functional link: the adjustable conference table supports standing work, the storage unit with a scroll wheel facilitates team restructuring, and the reconfigurable restaurant redefines informal office culture through the bar area and tiered seating.

Technological elements enhance collaborative experience: The 8 × 3-meter large screen wall enables hybrid collaboration, and the chemical bond pattern LED light strip supports switching between speech, conference, or focused work scenarios.

Symbiosis of brand and function: The visual identity of the enterprise is presented through flooring mosaic, cabinet color matching, and lighting system. Customized office furniture is an important carrier - the file cabinet handle adopts the iconic orange red color, and the storage cabinet panel is laser engraved with the enterprise logo.

Design value: Office furniture environment design is the embodiment of corporate values.
