Kiev Game Company's creative space design based on the concept of sports competition

ZIKZAK Architecture Firm has created a 920 square meter office space for a gaming company in Kiev, Ukraine, with the core concept of "sports competition", creating a dynamic work environment that inspires creativity and promotes efficient collaboration. The design aims to convey the corporate values of vitality, freedom, and competitive spirit through spatial form, echoing the team's culture of viewing work as an "intellectual sport".

Inspiration Magnetic Field and Competitive Atmosphere
The entire space is like an arena, balancing flexible and diverse collaborative areas with dedicated independent spaces. The entrance reception area combines modern roughness with Persian style carpets to create visual tension and establish a unique tone for the brand's presentation. The open office area is equipped with reconfigurable office furniture, combined with graphic elements and blue accents, to create a bright and layered efficient and fast environment.

Functional areas and thematic expression
The kitchen area is designed in the style of an urban caf é, with concrete island platforms and spherical lighting enhancing a relaxed and lively atmosphere. The private office adopts minimalist language, emphasizes acoustics and lighting, and supports deep work. The specially designed conference room is themed around the arcade game "Pac Man", incorporating pixel decorations and geometric lighting to meet the conference functions while stimulating the unique creative atmosphere of the game company.

Transition nodes and sustainable concepts
A pop-up photography studio is set up at the corner of the corridor to provide employees with a relaxing and interactive fun node, reflecting humanistic care. The project implements the principle of sustainable development, using recycled materials, human body sensing lighting, zone temperature control, and fresh air systems to achieve a balance between smart office and energy conservation and health.

This design successfully transforms the tension of sports competition into creative power for daily office work, creating a high-quality office environment design that not only conforms to the temperament of the gaming company, but also enhances team efficiency and creativity.
