In the electronic component manufacturing industry, innovation not only originates from laboratories, but also from daily office environments. Murata Korea is well versed in this field, and after the renovation of its Gangnam headquarters in Seoul, its office in Gwangjo, Suwon City, has been upgraded once again. The SBE-SPACEBASE design team took on this project and faced the challenges of location. The core proposition is clear: how to create an innovative office environment that young employees can "dream of" and even be willing to stay actively through spatial optimization and forward-looking office design?

Putting people first, color and nature jointly build an emotional field
Different from the cold feeling of traditional manufacturing offices, this design prioritizes the needs of the MZ generation. The design team conducted a high-level practice of color psychology, abandoning the direct use of corporate red and instead extracting more than 30 warm tones derived from the red color scheme. By gradually changing the saturation of rich colors such as brown, yellow, and pink, walls, furniture, and soft furnishings interweave to create a warm and layered three-dimensional space, effectively relieving work pressure and stimulating creativity.

At the same time, the concept of "loving nature" has been deeply implanted. The panoramic french window at the entrance is ingeniously combined with the embedded landscape green flower bed to maximize the natural scenery into the interior, breaking the closed stereotype of traditional office buildings. This dialogue with nature provides valuable visual comfort and inspiration for the research and operation teams of high-speed electronic components.

Elastic space and flexible workstations empower diverse work modes
In response to the pursuit of freedom and efficiency by young employees, the space thoroughly implements the "flexible space" and "flexible workstation system". Up to 80% of non fixed workstation configurations, combined with three scientifically planned functional areas - a collaborative discussion area to promote brainstorming, a dynamic personal workstation to meet daily tasks, and a focused area to ensure deep thinking - together form a highly adaptable office furniture ecosystem to modern work rhythms.

Diversified office furniture, such as workbenches and leisure sofas of different sizes and shapes, supports various scenarios from independent programming, team meetings to informal communication. The well-equipped humanized facilities such as restaurants, leisure corners, and changing rooms further upgrade the office from a simple workplace to a complex community that covers socializing, relaxation, and growth.
