Huawei HiSilicon Beijing Office Space Design: The Integration of Customized Furniture and Technology Human Centered. In 2025, as technology companies are pursuing a futuristic office environment, Huawei HiSilicon has delivered a 600 square meter office space on the B-2 floor of Dongsheng Science and Technology Park in Haidian District, Beijing, which combines customized office furniture and office environment to create a symbiotic relationship between "technology future" and "human centered future". This space, which carries the artificial intelligence research and development team, is redefining the office experience of technology enterprises through the details of every customized furniture. The minimalist narrative of technology starts from the entrance. Pushing open the glass door, the customized white marble front desk first catches the eye. Unlike traditional sharp edged designs, this 3.2-meter-long front desk adopts a symmetrical rounded shape, with a precise edge radius of 5 centimeters in curved processing, which not only echoes Huawei's technological genes, but also dissolves the sense of oppression in the space through soft boundaries. The curved light strip hanging from the ceiling echoes the shape of the front desk, and the ingenuity of furniture customization lies in the wireless charging module and embedded display screen hidden inside the front desk, seamlessly integrating the reception function with technology display. This is the concrete expression of "technology future" in office furniture. Turning around the front desk and entering the waiting area, the temperature sensation of the office environment began to emerge. The designer abandoned the conventional metal seats and customized a set of Chinese red fabric sofas. The 15 degree inclined backrest angle was ergonomically calculated, combined with a 3-centimeter-thick high-density sponge cushion layer, making waiting no longer a torture. The wooden edge next to the sofa is made of FSC certified white wax wood, which collides with the minimalist white ceiling light to create a balance between "technological coolness" and "natural temperature". This is precisely the spatial translation of Huawei HiSilicon's "open and inclusive" concept. The mobile furniture system in the open office area passes through the waiting area, revealing a systematic approach to furniture customization. There is not a single pillar in the entire area, and the designer used the technique of "block surface combination" to divide the 60 workstations into 5 collaborative units. The core of each unit is a customized L-shaped office desk, with a desktop size of 120 cm x 80 cm analyzed by the team workflow, which not only meets the needs of two people working in parallel, but also reserves a collaboration gap of 15 cm. The desktop is made of antibacterial and fireproof board, with 2mm wide LED light strips embedded at the edges. When employees leave the workstation for 15 minutes, the lights will automatically turn off. This intelligent linkage of "people walking and lights off" allows a sense of technology to penetrate into the details of use. It is worth noting that the interaction between office furniture and space has reached a new height here. Each collaborative unit is equipped with 3 movable whiteboard carts, with a body height adjustable between 75-110 centimeters. Combined with customized universal wheels, it can easily achieve 360 degree steering. When group discussions are needed, three carts quickly enclose to form a temporary meeting area, while they can be dispersed to each workstation on a regular basis. This "flexible gathering and dispersing" design perfectly meets the needs of Huawei HiSilicon's "diversified office methods". The data shows that this layout has increased team communication efficiency by 23%, confirming that "people-oriented future" is not an abstract concept. The customized solution for functional space and the design of the tea break area can be regarded as a model of humanized office environment. This is completely independent of the open office area and forms a psychological barrier with the outside world through wooden art paint. The customized bar counter is embedded with a hidden refrigerator and a direct water dispenser, and a charging interface is reserved below the countertop. Employees can drink coffee while keeping the device running. The most ingenious feature is the modular shelf on the wall, with standard units measuring 30cm x 30cm that can be freely adjusted according to the height of the item. This "growth oriented" furniture design allows the space to continuously evolve according to the team's needs. The customized furniture in the conference room reflects the symbiosis of technology and nature. The use of double-layer insulated glass partitions and aluminum frames ensures sound insulation (measured noise reduction of 38 decibels) while maximizing the introduction of natural light. The customized conference table adopts an electric lifting system that can be adjusted between 75-105 centimeters, meeting the dual needs of standing meetings and desk work. The built-in wireless projection module on the desktop, combined with a high-definition camera hidden in the ceiling, makes remote collaboration as natural as face-to-face communication. When sunlight shines through the glass on the table, the flow of light and shadow creates a wonderful harmony between technology and nature. This 600 square meter space, without any mass-produced furniture, exudes a restrained and minimalist aesthetic everywhere. Designers use geometric surfaces and lines to construct orderly spatial rhythms, and office furniture, as the core element, serves as both a functional carrier and a medium for conveying ideas. When Huawei HiSilicon engineers solve algorithm problems at customized workstations, collide ideas in front of movable whiteboards, and receive partners in temperature sensitive waiting areas, they may not deliberately pay attention to the design ingenuity of every piece of furniture, but the "instantly moved" spatial experience and the "eternal tranquility" working atmosphere are the best proof of the integration of office furniture and customized office environment. In today's increasingly cold technology world, Huawei HiSilicon Beijing office space tells us that the true future of office will always be a warm existence centered around human needs.
