What are the requirements of HFW?
HFW, a leading law firm in the UK, has realized the need to adjust their office space design to meet the growing business demands and transition from a customer-centric to an employee centric workplace. The urgent task is to unleash the true potential of HFW's new office space. Set improving employee experience as the primary goal to meet the health, well-being, and flexibility needs of HFW employees. Our goal is to design a magnet that attracts the best talents in the industry and becomes a powerful tool for retaining outstanding HFW employees. The design of office space needs to integrate the essence of HFW's brand and culture, creating an environment that fosters a sense of belonging among team members and resonates with the identity of HFW - a workplace that inspires inspiration and vitality, and drives HFW to new heights.

What is the design solution?
We collaborated with HFW to develop a transformative solution using design thinking principles. Through a deep understanding of people's needs, we challenged the traditional office layout of law firms and introduced a modern, minimalist, and open office environment, fully utilizing and enhancing the unique building structure and bare ceiling.
The inspiration we gained from our conversation with HFW is to focus on high-quality employee experience and customer satisfaction. Therefore, our design philosophy is to integrate "hospitality" with "work" - a concept that not only draws aesthetic creativity from the hotel industry, but also draws inspiration from the experiences provided by the hotel industry. In terms of aesthetics, we have utilized architectural style to create elements such as calm, soothing, and minimalist appearance. In terms of experience, our design focuses on providing a grand visiting experience as soon as one enters the door, and offering diverse space options.

Visiting Experience
The theme of "hotel style office" is vividly reflected in the visitor lounge, with warm colors, natural materials, and finishes creating a cozy experience. We have used specific textures and colors inspired by the various industries served by HFW to enhance the customer experience in a unique way. The front area exudes a friendly atmosphere through a Work Cafe similar to a rest area, where customers and employees can have formal and informal discussions.
The unique front desk design extends to the Work Cafe while also serving as a bar counter, improving space utilization.
04/
spatial function
In order to meet the communication needs of employees and visitors, the space has been flexibly laid out and designed - this area can hold various types of meetings and conversations, including informal small exchanges at the bar, discussions on lounge chairs, one-on-one conversations in booths, and can be expanded to larger formal meeting rooms.

Collaborative space
Through research, we have realized that traditional enclosed spaces are no longer suitable, and HFW employees need a more flexible and collaborative office environment. We integrate movable furniture and integrated technology into private offices to achieve seamless collaboration.
Our design includes informal rest areas to meet HFW's desire for flexibility and the need to work anytime, anywhere while staying in touch.
The integration of diverse spatial types in the design enhances collaboration and communication, ensuring purposeful and efficient use of the space.

multi-functional space
Due to 30% of the area bringing the "hotel style office" experience to life, the space is ingeniously designed to provide employees with diverse choices, allowing them to work according to their own wishes.
The War Room and telephone booth are used to support brainstorming meetings and focused work.
In addition, these spaces are equipped with cutting-edge technology to adapt to today's technology driven landscape and support diverse work environment choices. From formal meetings, quick communication, team collaboration to seamless virtual interaction, everything is available.

Meditation Space
The best always stays until the end!
We have carefully created a 'meditation space' next to the office area, allowing employees to unwind, relax, and recharge from their work. This is a multifunctional space with the best urban landscape, designed specifically for HFW employees. This' meditation space 'is based on the health and happiness of employees, where they can relax, have a cup of coffee with colleagues, take a book from the library, and enjoy the pleasure of reading. HFW also occasionally uses this space to hold yoga classes to encourage employees to cultivate a healthy lifestyle.
The office space transformation of HFW UK law firm, Sullivan, has elevated the experience for both clients and employees to a new level.
The new office space design scheme gives lawyers more choices, enabling them to choose their workplace and methods, thereby improving flexibility and work efficiency. Informal rest spaces and collaboration areas facilitate encounters, encourage spontaneous collaboration, and small teams find more suitable spaces for meetings and virtual work, improving efficiency and communication. Overall, HFW's modern office renovation design has increased customer and employee engagement, facilitated collaboration, and supported the continuous development of the business.
