As a technological aesthetic benchmark in the security field, Genetec Washington headquarters creates a global strategic hub that combines functionality, flexibility, and aesthetic value through customized office environment design. The project is led by the Canadian FOR design team, which deeply integrates architectural curves with intelligent requirements, becoming a benchmark space for showcasing the innovation power of enterprises.

Customized Space Design

1. Dynamic streamline layout
Customized circular flow lines are embedded in the building curves and glass curtain walls, connecting functional areas such as reception areas, training centers, and security simulation areas.   

• 530 customized felt ceiling Flat noodles are used for special geometric structure to form visual continuity with arc linear vents; Specially customized lighting system to enhance the smooth aesthetic of spatial curves.   

2. Innovation in functional scenarios
Customized arc-shaped training center: an immersive training space adapted to arc-shaped buildings, supporting flexible collaboration and demonstration needs.   

• Technology scenario simulation area: a circular theater style space equipped with 8 customized giant screens, combining technology display and immersive experience functions.   

• High end reception area: Customized high platform reception desk+concierge desk combination, integrated luggage storage, tea break supply, and business leisure functions.   

3. Construction of Furniture System
Choose customized office furniture systems from brands such as Knoll and Herman Miller to meet mixed office needs.   

The enclosed office adopts a customized soundproof partition system to ensure privacy while incorporating the overall design language.   

The collaborative area is equipped with customized desk and chair combinations with adjustable heights, supporting flexible switching of office scenarios.   

Design value embodiment

Maximizing spatial efficiency: Through customized design, the 650 square meter venue achieves multifunctional composite utilization (office, reception, training, conference).   

• Acoustics and aesthetics balance: customized acoustic system, curved ceiling and felt Flat noodles form double optimization of noise reduction and visual aesthetics.   

Brand gene externalization: The integration of architectural curves and customized elements highlights Genetec's technological aesthetic concept of "safety without boundaries".   

This project continues the customized design concept of FOR design team at its Montreal headquarters, conveying the company's innovative strength through spatial narrative. Upon opening, it became a landmark level office space in Washington, D.C., confirming the core role of customized design in enhancing spatial efficiency and brand value.
