Innovative application of office furniture: functional integration of history and modernity
Vizient's new Chicago location cleverly utilizes a customized furniture system to transform ArtDeco's historic building (Old Post Office) into a vibrant space for contemporary healthcare enterprises. By configuring modular office furniture, we not only preserve the grand scale of the original building with a height of 24 meters, but also create a dynamic layout that is suitable for diverse office scenes.
Three highlights of office environment design
1. Natural light and green plant system
Maximizing the introduction of natural lighting, coupled with vertical green walls and tree lined avenue landscapes, to create an ecological office environment with an average annual energy saving of 30%.
2. Collaborative Space Matrix
Build a multifunctional composite space called 'GrandTownHall', equipped with a curved conference wall that can accommodate 200 people and an intelligent interactive screen, supporting visualization and discussion of medical data.
3. Customized functional modules
Develop a mobile diagnosis and treatment unit tailored to the characteristics of the medical industry, integrating electronic medical record terminals and ergonomic chairs to achieve a balance between mobile office and privacy protection.
