The Workplace design team has created an independent office space for the IT department of an energy company in Wroc ł aw, Poland. With the design of the office environment as the core, it deeply echoes the nature of the energy industry and implements the concept of harmonious coexistence between humans and nature. The project covers an area of 900 square meters and continues the consistent language designed by the team for the company's headquarters in 2016, further integrating the earthy tone with Scandinavian characteristics to create a modern office environment that is both inclusive and efficient.
The design takes ergonomics and inclusivity as the primary principles, fully utilizing the latest research results on neuroinclusive workspaces. The team provides employees with a highly comfortable and supportive physical environment through reasonable space planning and office furniture selection. The lighting design is particularly prominent: the appropriately set glass partition wall guides natural light deep into the interior, ensuring a bright and transparent visual experience, while optimizing employees' circadian rhythm and psychological feelings.
In terms of material selection, the project significantly embodies the concept of sustainability and widely adopts ecological materials. For example, using recycled carpets without asphalt backing, as well as environmentally friendly PET felt for wall and ceiling decoration, these materials not only reduce environmental load, but also have a positive impact on users' senses through rich texture.
Space vision and atmosphere creation revolve around the imagery of the 'jungle'. Indoor and outdoor green plants blend together to create a peaceful environment immersed in nature, echoing the overall color scheme of the earth. Each furniture feature has been carefully considered, striking a balance between practicality and aesthetics, together creating a work environment that promotes brain recovery, enhances focus and productivity.
The final result was highly praised by employees and was referred to as the 'best office ever seen'. This case successfully demonstrates how to integrate ergonomics, ecological care, and humanistic needs through office environment design, creating a benchmark space for energy industry enterprises that combines identity, comfort, and productivity.
