橘色空间如何让创意办公成为可能
In 2025, Bohui Plaza in Huangpu District, Shanghai welcomed a cross-border integration of beauty and office space - the multi brand beauty group Juyi, founded in 2016, unveiled its new 3000 square meter headquarters here, operated by Zhang Ye Architecture Firm. The comprehensive upgrade of this office environment design is not only a revitalization of the physical space, but also a bold practice by beauty brands to integrate the concept of "creating beauty and sharing happiness" into the work environment.
How office furniture can become a carrier of brand symbols
Entering the front hall, the ingenious idea of customizing furniture comes to mind. The reception desk is inspired by the orange powder blusher box, and the curved edge is engraved with the delicate radian of the product powder. The table surface is made of acrylic material which is the same as the ferment color lip glaze tube body, showing a translucent amber luster under the light. This design that transforms product symbols into office furniture language allows the brand's genes to be transmitted from the first moment they step into the space.
Customized workstations in open office areas are more ingenious. Each workbench edge is embedded with a 0.5cm wide orange light strip, which matches the brand's iconic orange tone; The seat back uses the layered structure of the eye shadow disc for reference, and realizes the personalized configuration of "one person, one chair, one style" through the removable module. According to designers from Zhang Ye Architectural Firm, the custom development of office furniture alone took 8 months, during which 12 rounds of scheme iterations were conducted with the Juyi product team.
How to reconstruct the office ecology of beauty enterprises through green environmental protection
The core proposition of this office environment upgrade is how to translate the beauty industry's pursuit of "purity" into spatial language. The design team adopted three major environmental protection strategies: laying PVC flooring made from recycled cosmetics packaging on the ground, using biodegradable plant-based coatings on the walls, and even using mycelium biomaterials for office partitions - this environmentally friendly material cultivated in the laboratory has a texture similar to the dense texture of Orange's star product "lip mud".
Data shows that the new headquarters has passed LEED Gold certification, saving 32% energy and improving indoor air quality by 40% compared to traditional office spaces. The most creative feature is the "Beauty Green Plant Wall", where employees can use empty bottles of cosmetics as potted plants, practicing environmental protection concepts and forming unique brand memory points. This design that deeply binds green environmental protection with brand experience is redefining the office ecological standards of beauty companies.
How Orange Space Makes Creative Office Possible
The use of orange tones in a 3000 square meter space can be considered a textbook level case. From the gradient orange glass curtain wall at the entrance, to the Morandi orange blocks on the conference room walls, and to the fluorescent orange bar stools in the pantry, the designer has created a layered "color emotional map" using 16 different shades of orange. This design is in line with the underlying logic of the beauty industry's "color creates emotions", making the space itself a medium for conveying the concept of "sharing happiness".
The multifunctional front hall is the culmination of this concept. During the day, as a reception area, customized modular sofas can be combined into different forms to meet the needs of individual negotiations and group brainstorming; When switching to activity mode in the evening, the hidden projection device and adjustable stage work together to instantly transform into a brand release venue that can accommodate 200 people. As the CEO of Juyi Group said in an interview, "What we need is not a traditional office, but a brand experience hall that can inspire creativity and connect the inside and outside
When the aesthetic genes of beauty brands are injected into office environment design, and customized furniture becomes the carrier of brand narrative, the new headquarters of Juyi Group is proving that office space can not only be a workplace, but also a third living space that conveys brand values and inspires creativity. This practice of extending the mission of "creating beauty" to the workplace may become a new model for future office upgrades in beauty companies.
